Terms & Licence

Last updated November 3, 2026

These Terms & Licence ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Superclip ("Superclip", "we", "us"). They apply to the Superclip app, your Superclip licence, our website at getsuperclip.com and any related services (together, the "Services"). By downloading, installing, buying or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

1. About these terms

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you use the Services for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organisation.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

2. Your licence

Superclip is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Superclip, once you have bought it, for one person on up to two computers at a time. You can move your licence between computers from inside the app, within the swap limits shown there.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.

3. Accounts and licence keys

Your Superclip licence is tied to the account you sign in with and to the computers you register. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in and licence keys private and for everything done with them. Licence keys are for your own use only. Tell us straight away at support@getsuperclip.com if you think someone else is using them.

4. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  • copy, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise try to extract the source code, design, algorithms or internal workings of the Services, except to the limited extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
  • use the Services, or any AI tool, model, agent or automated system, to analyse, copy, clone, recreate or replicate the Services, their features, interface or design, or to build a competing product or service;
  • use the Services, their code, interface, text, images or outputs to train, fine-tune or evaluate an AI or machine-learning model;
  • scrape, crawl or harvest the Services or our website by automated means, other than search engines indexing our public pages;
  • circumvent, disable, tamper with or crack licensing, device limits, activation or any security feature;
  • share, sell, resell, rent, lend, publish or transfer licence keys, accounts or access to Superclip, or use a key or account that isn't yours;
  • modify Superclip, or distribute modified, repackaged or unofficial builds;
  • remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notice;
  • use the Services to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or spread malware; or
  • interfere with or overload our servers, or try to get unauthorised access to any system or data.

5. Purchases and pricing

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which also handles taxes and invoicing. Their terms also apply to your payment. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time; a change never affects a purchase you've already completed. The price at checkout is the price you pay.

Early-user and other promotional prices apply only while the offer lasts and only to the number of places stated. They can't be applied to past purchases or combined with other offers.

Superclip is delivered digitally as soon as your payment goes through. By completing a purchase, you ask us to supply it immediately.

6. Refunds

Superclip is a digital download you get the moment you pay, so all sales are final and we don't offer refunds.

That includes changing your mind, not using it, a feature we change later, or moving to a new computer. And if you buy Superclip to take it apart, copy it or build a clone of it, by hand or with AI tools, you won't get a refund either. The same goes if you break these Terms in any other way.

Some countries give you a legal right to cancel online purchases. By buying, you agree that Superclip is delivered straight away, which ends that right where the law allows. If something is genuinely wrong with Superclip and the law where you live entitles you to a fix or your money back, we'll respect that.

Questions before you buy? Email support@getsuperclip.com and we'll help.

7. Chargebacks and fraud

If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us first at support@getsuperclip.com. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without a valid reason breaches these Terms. If a payment is reversed, disputed, refunded or found to be fraudulent, we may immediately end your access to Superclip, revoke related licence keys, block the account and computers involved from future purchases, contest the dispute with evidence of your purchase and use, and recover the amount and any fees and costs we incur, where the law allows.

8. Ownership

The Services, including the software, source code, design, interface, companions and artwork, text, logos and the Superclip name, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These Terms don't give you any rights in our names, logos or brand.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you or giving you credit.

9. Your content and privacy

What you copy stays on your computer. You own your content and you're responsible for it, including making sure you have the right to copy and keep it. Superclip doesn't upload your clipboard history; the Privacy Policy lists the limited data used for licensing.

Superclip tries to recognise passwords, API keys and other secrets and keep them out of your history, but automatic detection can't catch everything and can sometimes flag ordinary text. You decide whether Superclip suits the information you handle, especially confidential, financial, medical or work data, and you can pause capture or ignore apps in Settings.

You control your history: you can delete clips, clear it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling may leave some local files behind, which you can delete yourself. Keep your own backups of anything important.

10. Changes to Superclip

Superclip is actively developed. We may add, change, limit or remove features, including integrations with other apps, at any time, for example for security, legal, technical or product reasons. Your purchase includes the updates we release for Superclip for as long as we offer them; it doesn't guarantee that any particular feature will stay available.

11. Third-party services

Some features work with apps and services you choose to use, such as music players, web browsers, Claude Code or Codex. We don't control them, aren't responsible for them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. They may change or stop working with Superclip at any time.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Superclip at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to the Services or to Superclip, without refund, if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or to protect the Services, our users or us. Sections 4 and 6 to 18 continue to apply after your access ends.

13. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or keep your data safe.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue or goodwill, however caused. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for Superclip in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services, to the extent the law allows.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Superclip's owner is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts there. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting any legal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll give notice in the app or on our website before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Changes don't apply to disputes that arose before them.

18. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and that part applies as far as the law allows. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours, for example if Superclip is sold. You must follow all export and sanctions laws that apply to you.
